Scatter Radiation Protection Shields

The Shields and Drapes are a full family of scatter radiation protection shields available at different levels of radiation protection. The shields have the industry’s most highly absorbent material for fluid containment.

Shields are sterile, disposable, and lead-free so they are environmentally friendly. In addition to providing protection from scatter radiation, the material is very lightweight for easy handling and flexible enough that if you need to bend a part of It will do so easily and hold its position.

Several models are available depending on the mode of intervention.

Specification

    3 levels of protection are available:
  • Level 3: Attenuation diffused up to 95% at 90KVp (Lead Equivalency .375mm Pb)
  • Level 2: Attenuation diffused up to 90% at 90KVp (Lead Equivalency .250mm Pb)
  • Level 1: Attenuation diffused up to 75% at 90KVp (Lead Equivalency .125mm Pb)
